We took the boat out today to the springs. We took this net and a fishing pole. Austin caught a few small fish and Westen played with the net. I have to include that Westen did fall face down into foot deep water the first 10 minutes we were there with no attempt to get himself up. Freaked me out! I guess we'll be continuing swim lessons;)
Westen passed out on the cruise back. Below is him under the hat. We were trying to keep the sun out of his face. And he missed the big gator we happened to pass. Yikes!
I enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day this year! We went to church, then Austin and Westen took me to two of my favorite restaurants - Peach Valley Cafe for brunch and Betty's A1A Cafe for dinner. We took some pictures of me and Westen that day, but this one was hands-down the best. Westen was playing peep-eye (peek-a-boo for you Floridians) with me behind this tree. He is so funny and I am so blessed!
We went to the Port Orange Pavillion tonight for some tasty burgers. The weather was great so we took Westen over to the Pirate Ship park. He had fun crawling and climbing. We finished up with some cold stone ice cream - delicious!

Hi and welcome to our blog! I am Kate - wife of super high energy, super republican, super fun husband, Austin, and mother of 2 adorable, sweet boys - Westen and Baron! And mother of our eldest child, our sweet Boston Terrier, Cousey! Yeah, I'm outnumbered 4 to 1 so we have a home filled with rough-housing, trucks, trains, sports, you name it! I am what, over the years, has been called homemaker, housewife, and stay-at-home mom. I dare not say what today's society may call me (I kid... I kid!) I love being home with my boys and attempting to make my house a home. I'm what my mom calls "crafty", but feel more like a novice and hope to improve on my DIY and home-making skills. This blog is a way for us to share our adventures with our friends and family. To learn more about us, click here. Enjoy!
